To find what is missing...

An oddity.
An abnormality.
An anomaly.
With flying fists and crunching kicks.
Do not trust automatous fabrications.
Hand back our savior, or risk our fury.
This is your warning.

Perception...
Perception is more than what is there. Perception is also what is absent, or missing.
The mind is such a powerful thing. I've been reading a lot lately on the subject of psychology. Psychology is the study of mental processes. How the mind reacts to different situations and stimuli. It got me thinking about the matrix, and all those bluepills still plugged in. I think I've forgotten what that's like. To not know the truth. My perception of my world has completely changed. Now that I know the truth, I can't help but notice all of the strange quirks that make it painfully obvious that the matrix isn't real. The matrix has everything that we expect to see, but what's missing is the warmth. The matrix is a product of cold hard logic. It lacks compassion and common sense.
Neo. The One. He provided for the matrix what it was lacking. It was probably a bigger attack against the system than anyone else has brought through force. Everything he did was for the protection and survival of humanity. He faced the adversity of causality and control, and introduced compassion and understanding. In the end, we survived in exchange for his loss. I hate to think that so many people are forgetting this.
Now that he's gone, the matrix has changed. Our perception of the matrix has changed. It's causing us to act differently, to talk differently, to think differently. The perception of an absence is obvisouly a very powerful weapon.
Sometimes our perception is affected by what is not perceivable. We can walk into a bar, or talk to a friend, or read a journal entry, and immediately perceive our surroundings. But sometimes it's what is missing that requires our undivided attention.
How can we be aware of what isn't there? I guess we have to know what it is we expect to perceive.

Lame tricks...
Apparently Cryptos can't get enough of himself, he has to go and make everyone look like him. Of course, it's just another one of his yawn-inducing magic tricks, but am I the only one that realizes that everything this guy does is for himself? How can people follow such a self-centered bastard?! I guess it's no surprise that he embraces illusions so quickly.
Pretty soon, he's going to trick himself into thinking he can actually win this battle.

I hope she's ok...

Bishop Imports. Ueno. The Effectuator is requesting Zion operatives to gather information from data clusters all over the city. With this information, they hope to break down the firewall that is protecting Niobe's prison construct. There's not much E Pluribus Neo can do for now except sit back and watch.
I haven't seen many Cypherites around lately. I'm not complaining. We're obviously doing something right. Though, something tells me the next time Veil makes an appearance, knives and all, she won't be without her stooges.
Hold on, Niobe. They're coming for you.
